Good Luck to Students and Happy Holidays!

Just stopping in to wish all the students the best of luck on their semester tests and also to wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's.  Also to thank all who participated in the music programs as they sure were enjoyable.  I refer to the Elementary Program as the HS/JH Program is tonight.  Hope everyone does well as I am looking forward to seeing everyone perform.  Good Luck!!

Bingo for Turkey and Ham

Minatare Elementary School is the site of a night of fun and frolic with a lot of Bingo mixed in.  Bingo for turkeys and hams ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday will be the main item along with informational items on our Elementary Reading/Language Arts/Math programs as well as presentations on before and after school programs involving 21st Century Learning.  Please come join us on November 16th in the evening and celebrate the Home/School connection to share in our school efforts to have fun together. Be on the lookout for more information on this evening of fun.

A nice way to end the season Minatare Indians...All on an up note.  It may not have ended the way you had hoped, but you need to be proud of your efforts for those of you that finished the season and did your best.  WAY TO GO!!!!

P/T Conferences

I want to thank once again the parents and guardians for supporting our students by attending the Parent/Teacher Conferences this week.  It shows that you truly care about your child's education and we appreciate it very much.  It really helps a school system when they know they are supported by the home and that everyone who has a vested interest in the education of our youth demonstrate the importance as such.  In our effort to improve our relationship with the home and community, we will be hosting a Bingo for Turkey's and Ham's Night next month ahead of Thanksgiving.  It will be in the evening at the Elementary Lunchroom.  Please stay tuned for details as to the time and date so you and your child may attend and join in during what should be a fun time.  Thanks again.

Kudos to those of you who came to the Minatare Public Schools Open House night.  It is great that you took the time to show your children and students that you care about them and you care about their education.  Supporting them and the efforts put forth to education will go a long way in helping them be successful in life.  Education is the key to so many things we all do.  Again on behalf of all Minatare Staff members, my sincere thanks to all of you.

I hope tomorrow's event turns out to be a good one and the community is there to meet those of us that come.  I hope that this will also be the first of many. 

Intro Post

This is the first entry of what I hope will be many.  As Superintendent I want this to be a place to share ideas, information and anything in general related to the Minatare Public School System.  Thanks for being a follower and a contributor for those of you that do.
